Certificate of Acceptance (COA) Reports & Unauthorised Building Work Reports

Grant Hunt Building Consultants Ltd is recognized by local Councils to complete Certificate of Acceptance and Unauthorised/ Illegal Building Work reports.

For unauthorised work completed after the 1992 Building Act we complete reports ensuring compliance with relevant clauses in the NZ Building Code as at the time of construction. These are lodged with council with a Certificate of Acceptance application for review and acceptance.

For unauthorised work completed before the 1992 Building Act we complete Safe and Sanitary Reports which are lodged with council for review and acceptance.

We can also assist in identifying any unauthorised works on your property (work without Building Consent).
